American Hutch Cupboard
Late 18th or early 19th century hutch cupboard. The upper shelves have ridges that enable displaying of plates. The cornice and sides of the cupboard are elaborately scrolled. It has raised panels on the doors at the bottom of the cupboard and dovetailed drawers. The cupboard rests on bracket feet. The cornice is 43 and half inches wide. The wood, most likely pine, is finished in an old brownish varnish. The base of the cupboard is 42 and a half inches wide. It stands 66 inches tall and is approximately 19 inches deep.
